Hello, I'm Mistaken Guardian.

I made this site for fun starting on it a few months before I turned 30. Maybe part of a mid life crisis lol but its been fun regardless.

A few years ago I tried learning to code with C# in Unity and with a lot of time struggling with the learning curve the most I got was animated movement with keyboard inputs. Which was cool and a big win at the time but very quickly it crashed and burned. I don't remember want happened but the whole project got scraped and I was burned out feeling like coding was not for me.

mid to late 2023 I completed building my pc (first build) and having the specs to do more then I was used to lit a fire under my ass! Anyway, at some point a nostalgia flu hit me and down the rabbit hole i surfed. The way back, wiby, the old net, and the internet archive were my playground for awhile. During this time i came across Neocities.

I was very hesitant about trying again to learn how to code. But felt more confident after my project pc.

At this point in the project I'm pleased with where its at now. Had a few times where I wanted to just scrap it but I'm glad I didn't.

Now I just need to conquer my hesitation with learning JS...

What was the last book you read? Gyo by Junji Ito
Would you rather trade intelligence for looks or looks for intelligence? I'd look like hot dog water to prove string theory.
If you could go back in time, what year would you travel to? 60s Woodstock would be cool to see.
Who would you want to be stranded with on a deserted island? Bert Kreischer, funny and an okay out loud reader!
Do you live by any particular mantra? "The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago, so right now is the second best."
